Lavender Heights neighbors Discovery Park, Meridian's new regional park. Plans for Discovery Park include a performance area with a shaded stage, specialty gardens, illuminated ballfields, off-leash dog park, and a playground featuring: toddler play structure, Idaho-themed interpretive panels, sand and water play area, nature-themed photo station, climbing rocks, climbing wall, zip lines, roller slides, hidden creatures, sand and water play area, and seasonal splash pad.
